Day Six.

Photo Six.

Observations: For some reason I thought these paint strips were beautiful. A girl at the studio where I work must have been testing out her paints before she used them and this is what resulted. It is always fun to find something that wasn’t meant to be beautiful turn out to be. Often, I look so hard to find things that are beautiful in and of themselves, but often these people and things are just trying too hard. Beauty shouldn’t have to try. Beauty is an uncovering, not a building up. It is pure, simple, honest, and unconcerned. It is confident in its very existence.
